BEATRICE, Neb. - Winding down the regular season, Highland (4-8-3) used goals from four different scorers to rally to a 7-0 win over Southeast (0-11) on Saturday.
Ashley Romero opened the scoring for the Scotties early, with
Riane Shaffer-Byers notching a brace before halftime to give Highland a 3-0 lead.
Paige Carrier added her first of the match after the break to give Highland a 4-0 lead, then bookended a second-half goal by Romero to put Highland up 6-0.
Della Arnold closed out the scoring with an unassisted strike after posting assists on HCC's first two goals.
Highland is on the road for the next two matches, with a trip to Kansas City Kansas Community College first up. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. Wednesday.
