CHANUTE, Kan. - Goals late in both the first and second half spelled doom for Highland (3-7-3, 2-4-1 KJCCC) at Neosho County (3-6-1, 2-4-1 KJCCC) on Saturday.
The Scotties were able to create a number of solid chances, with
Riane Shaffer-Byers putting a pair of shots on goal while
Paige Carrier added one of her own, but Neosho's goalkeeper was able to stop all three efforts.
Highland returns home for the final time this season, hosting Johnson County Community College on Wednesday. The Scotties will recognize their graduating sophomore class prior to the match, and will be recognizing Breast Cancer Awareness Month as well. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m.
