Box Score It was an exciting series finale between the Red Ravens and the Highland Community College Scotties on Tuesday night at Highland Community Ballpark. After the Red Ravens erased a 3 run Scottie lead in the top of the 7
th to tie the game at 8, the game pushed onto an extra-inning where Coffeyville pushed a go-ahead run across to take the lead 9-8.
 Highland used back-to-back singles by
Jhors Gomez and
Jake Bucovetsky to put the go-ahead run on first base. After back-to-back fly-outs, the Scotties found themselves down to their final out when the magic began.
Andrew Brubeck singled through the right side of the infield to score the tying run bringing
Jason Dudzik to the plate with a chance to win it for Highland.
Dudzik worked a 1-0 count and on the next pitch he blasted a shot into the Highland night sky over the leftfield fence to win it for the Scotties in walk-off fashion! "I was just looking for a pitch over the plate that I could drive and thankfully I put a good swing on it and was able to help the team win", said Dudzik after the walk-off winner.
Head Coach
Landon Hay echoed Dudzik's thoughts and added the following, "Jason has been coming on strong lately and really finding himself at the plate. We have been waiting for him to explode, I am incredibly proud of the way he and the rest of our team battled tonight to take the series finale. Now we have a great chance in front of us to go into a series this weekend with a very talented Johnson County team with some momentum at our backs."
The Scotties start their series versus the #6 Johnson County Cavilers on Friday at the Highland Community Ballpark at 1 p.m. Catch all of the action live on the Scottie Sports Network!
