COLUMBUS, Neb. - Despite holding solid possession for much of the contest, Highland (0-2-2) dropped a 2-0 road result to Central Community College (1-0-1) on Tuesday.

Coming into the match, the Scotties looked equally matched with the Raiders, as both squads earned draws against Metropolitan Community College - KC. HCC held Metro scoreless, while Central surrendered a third-minute goal in their 1-1 draw.

Unfortunately, Highland was on the wrong side of Lady Luck twice in the match, as inopportune deflections led to both Central goals.

The Scotties return home on Saturday, facing off against fellow KJCCC Dodge City Community College. HCC will kick off against Division 1 Dodge City at noon.
