Highland Announces Fall Promotional Schedule For Football

HIGHLAND, Kan. - Saturdays will be packed with plenty of college football action in Highland, as the Scotties have packed seven home contests into the 2025 schedule. In addition to the great competition that the Jayhawk Conference is known for, five-time bowl winner Tom Minnick will face off against his junior college alma mater.

Aug. 30 marks the Scotties home opener, as Highland welcomes Snow College to Kessinger Field at Porter Family Stadium. The 4 p.m. kickoff officially launches the Minnick era, as well as the first time Highland faces the Badgers.

Highland celebrates Homecoming and Family Day with its next contest, hosting Iowa Central on Sept. 13. Join the Highland Alumni Association for tailgate festivities before the 1 p.m. kickoff.

October and November each bring a pair of promotional dates to Porter Family Stadium, beginning with HCC's Alumni Awards Recognition day on Oct. 11. Highland takes on Coffeyville in a 1 p.m. kickoff and we'll honor five individuals for their contributions and service to HCC. As Highland takes on the College of DuPage on Oct. 25, join us as we Pink Out Porter Family Stadium to support breast cancer awareness.

In advance of Veteran's Day, Highland will host its Military Appreciation Day against Garden City on Nov. 8, with special honors planned for both active duty and veterans. The Scotties wrap up the 2025 regular season with Sophomore Day on Nov. 15 against Hutchinson, recognizing those student-athletes who are finishing their athletic careers at Highland.

Highland looks to improve upon last year's 5-6 mark with a number of new faces supporting a solid group of returners. Despite being ranked seventh in the KJCCC Predicted Order of Finish, the Scotties promise an exciting season of football.
