Magdalena Burdova earns “Scottie Athlete of the Week” honors after she qualified for Nationals in the 600m run and was a part of the Scottie women’s 4x400 meter relay team that broke the school record at Regionals.

Burdova posted a time of 1:38.91 to qualify for Nationals in the 600 meter run and finish seventh in the Region, while earning honorable mention KJCCC honors. She also competed as part of the women’s 4x400 meter relay team that posted a time of 3:52.98 breaking the school record by over three seconds and taking second in the Region and first in the KJCCC East. Burdova also finished 12th in the 60 meter hurdles in the Region posting a time of 9.85 and took second in the KJCCC East.

Her time in 600 meter run was also the tenth fastest in all of NJCAA last week.
