Alexis Hodapp earns “Scottie Athlete of the Week” after helping Highland softball team go 4-0 last week with wins over Cloud County and MCC.
Hodapp in the second game of the doubleheader versus Cloud County posted a 2-3 game with two runs scored, three RBI’s, a home run and first career triple. While in the first game against MCC, Hodapp was 2-3 with four RBI’s. Overall in the four games she went 4-11 at the plate with eight RBI’s, four runs scored, a triple, home run and three walks, while recording 26 putouts at first base.
On the season Hodapp is batting .494 which leads the team and Conference, while recording 43 hits, a team high 48 RBI’s and 27 runs scored. She has seven doubles, a triple, four home runs and eight stolen bases. She also ranks third in RBI’s in the Conference and leads the Conference in on base percentage (.583). In the Nation Hodapp ranks eighth in RBI’s and 24th in batting average.
