Courtney Ledyard earns “Scottie Athlete of the Week” after helping the Highland football team to a 21-0 shutout win over Ellsworth at home to pick up the team’s first win of the season.
 
Ledyard and the Scottie defense was stout on the day as Highland pitched the third shutout under Head Coach Aaron Arnold and corralled Ellsworth giving up just 165 total yards of offense to the Panthers in the game, holding them to less than 50 yards in the second half.
 
The red-shirt sophomore defensive lineman had a strong game recording nine tackles with 2.5 tackles for loss. Ledyard also forced a fumble by ripping the ball away from an Ellsworth runningback and securing it for the turnover.
