Marquise Milton earns “Scottie Athlete of the Week” as he helped the Highland men’s basketball team move to 11-3 on the season after a 2-1 week of action. 

Milton continues to spear head the Highland offense as he dropped 24 points in the Scottie win over Baker JV at home a contest he went 11-18 from the floor and added five rebounds, three assists and two steals. He followed that up with 26 points on 10-19 shooting and 6-8 from the free throw line in a win over Central CC while adding three rebounds. In the loss to Southeast Milton recorded his seventh straight 20+ point performance going 7-19 from the floor with six made field goals being three’s to rack up 23 points while adding six rebounds, three assists and three steals. 

On the season Milton leads the team in scoring averaging 19.1 points per game on 53.5% shooting and 36.5% shooting from three-point range. He’s added 3.1 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.6 steals per game. 

He ranks sixth in the Nation in made field goals with 99 on the season, while he ranks eighth in total points with 267 on the year.
