Berniezha Tidwell, a sophomore guard from Hot Springs, Arkansas has been awarded 'Scottie Athlete of the Week.'

Tidwell has led the Scotties in their last two games this season tying her season high 31 points in the win over Missouri Southern JV. She also contributed three rebounds, five assists, and eight steals; shooting 82.4% in field goal range.
In her 20 minute showing against Native Dream, Tidwell led the team with 22 points, four steals and four rebounds shooting 65%.
Tidwell is 2nd in the KJCCC East in steals averaging 3.3, 3rd in points per game with 15.5 and field goal percentage with 57.2%.
