DJ Doakes has been named 'Scottie Athlete of the Week.'

The freshman out of Tomball, TX has been a force off the bench for the Scotties. Doakes went 2-2 from behind the arc in the 93-75 win against the Larks finishing with nine points, and seven rebounds.

Doakes has played in all 23 games this season averaging 4.5 points per game, 2.7 rebounds, a game and his shooting 47% in field goal percentage.
